Biography
The award winning sculptress, Nohad Sabbagh has devoted a lifetime to exploring the endless possibilities of sculpting. She received a bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in New York majoring in Sculpture and Industrial Design. She grew up in the active art community of New York and attended the prestigious High School of Art and Design in Manhattan.
The combination of fine arts training and deep technical understanding of materials and design can be found in all of her works. Her Industrial Design background has allowed her to develop the discipline needed to deliver quality work on time and on budget while managing to balance beauty of form and practical function. Some of the places she has sculpted for are: Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, American Museum of Natural History and Mattel Toys. She has also made costumes, hand and set props for the theater arts. She has sculpted portrait busts for many dignitaries such as President Ronald Reagan. She enjoys giving demonstrations and teaching all ages. Nohad’s hallmark is creating traditional sculptures. |
